FAT TRANSFER

 Fat grafting is the removal of fat from one area of the body and injection into another area with specialised cannulas.

Usually fat harvested from The Abdomen, Hips, Thighs or Buttocks and used to augment the Breasts, filling lost volume in facial wrinkles, Buttock augmentation and in scar treatment.

The Procedure Is Performed as day care surgery.

Fat transfer procedure include, removal of fat cells from your body with specialised cannulas called liposuction, usually sufficient amount of fat can be removed from the abdomen, thighs or buttocks. The fat is then prepared (washing and separating fluids and blood from the fat graft) before it is injected into the desired area. The injections are done in a serial rows with fine cannulas, placing a small amount of fat with each pass. Usually we do certain amount of overcorrection as only up to 60% of the transferred fat survive and remaining will be absorbed. which also contributes to some of the swelling following the procedure.
