LIP AUGMENTATION

In many cultures, voluminous lips are considered youth and feminine. Hence, there is a good demand for augmenting the lips.

Lip Augmentation using Fillers are available as preloaded 1ml injections. Fillers can be injected into the lips under local anaesthesia, it increases the sharpness and volume. There is no downtime, results are spontaneous and may last for 6 to 12 months. Injections need to be repeated as and when necessary.
Lip Augmentation by Fat grafting is another technique used to augment the lips. Fat is harvested usually from abdomen through liposuction and after processing fat is injected into the lips. Up to 60% of fat may survive and need to repeat the procedure if necessary. Fat grafting may take 3-6 months for final result to appear and the results are considered permanent.
